Sarah Albutt Profile

Sarah graduated from the UWE Hartpury in 2014 with a 2:1 Degree in Sports Coaching. After being a teaching assistant for a year she soon realised that sport was her true passion and she didn’t want to lose her enthusiasm with it, with this in mind, combining her sports knowledge and organisational skills organising sports tours would be her perfect job.

Sarah is a keen skier and likes to travel. Away from work Sarah likes to play netball for her local club and also coaches netball.  Sarah lives on her family farm, they farm over 500 acres with around 300 beef cattle and 1600 ewes.

In her spare time she is part of the Young Farmers organisation. Within this she has been club Secretary, club Chairman and County Rally Chairman in 2015.  Being Rally Chairman involved organising 15 clubs to compete in over 60 competitions overs two days. She has also organised many dinner and dances and a celebratory ball which over 300 people attended.

Favourite Sports Tour Destination

“My favourite sports tour destination so far has been Barcelona. I helped with a group of 70 children ranging from 12-18 years old.  They got to play against local teams and also got to tour around Nou Camp which is home to FC Barcelona and visit the famous ‘La Rambla’ where they were able to soak up the culture of Barcelona.”

Most Memorable Travel Experience

“My most memorable travel experience was to tour Australia. I spent 3 months driving over 23,000km. I climbed to the top of Ayres Rock, swam in the Great Barrier Reef and went skiing on Mount Baw Baw. It really was a once in a lifetime experience. “
