Following our successful Gloucester Rugby Supporters Tour Packages over recent seasons, Burleigh Travel are pleased to announce that we will be again offering you the chance to support Gloucester Rugby while they strive for European glory in the 2012/13 season Amlin Challenge Cup.

Gloucester Rugby will take on London Irish, Bordeaux-Bégles and Mont-De-Marsan and if you would like to pre-register interest for supporters tours to either of the French games, please email us.

As a local company and an avid Gloucester supporter myself we are pleased to announce that, following the successful organisation of Gloucester Rugby Supporters trips last season, we are again offering trips to Agen for the game on Friday 8th October, La Rochelle on Saturday 11th December and Rovigo over the weekend of 13th-16th January.

Burleigh Travel are keen supporters of Gloucester Rugby and have been proud sponsors of Mike Tindall for the last two seasons and his support at our charity fundraising events has been greatly appreciated. This season we are sponsoring local academy player Jack Hayes and Luke Narraway who, following his success in the England Saxons team, is hoping to regain full international honours this coming season.

Due to the success of last year’s event where the overwhelming generosity of the evening’s guests rasied a grand total of £1,500 for the Tamara Johnson Trust, on the 20th August 2009, Burleigh Travel hosted a second charity evening at the prestigious Hotel du Vin in Cheltenham to further our support of this deserving cause.

This years guests were once again treated to fine food and wine along with the exccellent company of Andy Deacon and Mike Tindall; Gloucester RFC legends who were guest speakers for the evening.

Burleigh Travel organised a champagne reception followed by a delicious three course meal at the luxury surroundings of the new Hotel du Vin in Cheltenham to raise money for the “Tamara Johnson Trust”, a young Bath Ladies rugby player who injured her spine earlier this year.

The evening was hosted by Gloucester Rugby legends Mike Tindall (MBE) and Andy Deacon who discussed next season’s fixture list while recalling some exciting encounters and stories from their past.
