Burleigh Travel at the Cheltenham Cricket Festival

Cheltenham Cricket Festival 2006

Burleigh Travel recently hosted a hospitality day at Cheltenham Cricket Festival for a selection of our valued clients and suppliers from Gloucestershire and the immediate surrounding areas along with our valued team of sports tour coordinators.

The day was held on Friday 4th August 2006; the third day of the County Championship fixture between Gloucestershire V Leicestershire. As Gloucestershire were unfortunately beaten by four wickets on the 4th day of the game, our guests were able to enjoy a full day’s cricket in glorious sunshine.

Guests were treated to a Pimms reception on arrival, a fine four course luncheon superbly catered by the Old Patesians Rugby Club during the cricket lunch break followed by high tea during the final cricket break of the day. Several guests were also fortunate to win prizes in the numerous raffles taking place throughout the day.

Burleigh Travel were delighted to be able to invite our Guests to this event as there are few opportunities to thank clients and suppliers alike for their loyalty to us; especially in a social environment over a glass of wine and we would like to echo the thanks given by Chris Kite, the Company Director on the day to all concerned.
