Junior Rugby Tour to Newquay

A junior rugby tour to Newquay in Cornwall was the selection of the U15 players from Exeter Saracens Rugby Club for their short, two night end of season tour in April 2002.

Cornwall offers the fine blend of rich rugby tradition with popular tourist attractions, such as the Eden Project and a beautiful coastline now a Mecca for British surfers.

The group competed well in fixtures against Wadebridge Camals RFC & St Austell RFC, managing to win as many matches as they lost and were extremely well looked after at both events.

After the success of this tour the same group of players visited Cardiff for their rugby tour the following year, again with Burleigh Travel at the forefront of the arrangements.
