Senior Rugby Tour to Rimini

A rugby tour to Rimini in Italy was the 2009 rugby tour choice for the players of the Merlin Invitational Rugby Club. The players were based in accommodation near to the golden sandy beach in Rimini, which gave a perfect excuse for a full day relaxing on the beach and enjoying games of beach volleyball , frisbee and football on their free day. A dinner trip to the nearby San Marino gave the players a truly unique experience and one that will always be remembered. During the rugby tour the group were made to feel extremely welcome by their hosts at Rimini and Fermo Rugby clubs and the huge effort made by the hosts was greatly appreciated by the tourists.
