After a hearty breakfast, the group boarded their team coach to make the southbound journey through Zululand to Durban to catch their mid afternoon flight to Cape Town.
Upon arrival in Cape Town in the early evening after checking in the group enjoyed an evening at leisure.
Friday 13th August 2004
To allow the group to prepare for their first taste of rugby in the Western Cape, the morning was spent at leisure before the group assembled at lunch time to travel to the match venue.
Upon arrival at Excelsior High School, the players participated in their usual warm up before kicking off their third fixture of the tour at 14.30 hours.

The Penryn Players must have thrived on the Cape Town air as they recorded thier first win of the tour in what was an impressive display of rugby from both teams.
Excelsior provided the group with Fantastic hospitality after the game and they presented Penryn with a club plaque to comemorate the fixture. Thanks to Excelsior for their generous welcome.
Saturday 14th August 2004
Later this day the group enjoyed their last fixture of the tour and recorded their second consecutive victory giving them a 100% record in the Western Cape.

MAN OF THE MATCH : JASON JOWETT
To make the most of their last full day in Cape Town, the group started with a cable car trip up table mountain before moving to the Waterfront area from where they visited Robben Island, the home of Nelson Mandela during his years of imprisonment.
After arriving on the island by ferry, the group enjoyed a bus tour of the island combining an insight into the history of the island with spectacular views of Cape Town and Table Mountain before having a guided tour of the prison including a visit to Mandela's cell.
In the evening the group enjoyed an end of tour meal; a fitting way to round off the tour.
Monday 16th & Tuesday 17th August 2004

Before the group were transferred to the airport for their return flight to London, they had time to enjoy a morning's shopping at Camal Wharf before making one last sightseeing trip to Newlands Stadium. Once they had enjoyed a tour of the stadium, they transferred to the airport and thier return flight to London to complete a thoroughly memorable tour.
