| GENERAL
INFORMATION This 12-day/10-night
tour, which gave the choir the opportunity to visit three
of Canada's most famous cities. Their first base was Toronto,
Canada's largest city and their centrally located hotel was within
walking distance from the city’s many attractions, including;
the CN Tower, the Sky Dome Stadium, Ontario Royal Museum and the
Harbour Front.

Their second port
of call was the capital, Ottawa, which had something
to offer everyone. The group had the opportunity to take a cruise
on the historic Rideau Canal or tour the beautiful Parliament Buildings
and take an elevator ride to the observation deck of the Peace Tower,
which stands almost 100 metres above Parliament Hill.
Their final
destination was Niagara Falls where a variety of
attractions such as the Skylon Tower, the Botanical Gardens and
Butterfly Reserve were all suggested trips together with a meal
in the Table Rock restaurant overlooking the Falls; an ideal way
to enjoy a quiet lunch.

This was the last
full day in Toronto which was again spent at leisure. A popular attraction
to visit in Toronto is Casa Loma, one of Toronto’s most remarkable
landmarks.
This castle was built between 1911 and 1914 and is
the product of Sir Henry Pellatt’s boyhood dream. This medieval
17th century style castle has stately towers, soaring battlements,
secret passageways, and sweeping terraces, and is easily accessible
from Downtown Toronto.
