SUSSEX FOOTBALL FESTIVAL: GENERAL INFORMATION

Your group will be based in either 6 or 8 berth caravans in a holiday park on the beachfront near the village of Selsey, West Sussex. There are plenty of on site amenities to keep your group entertained, such as a brand new heated indoor swimming pool complex with slides, steamrooms, sauna and a state of the art fitness suite. There’s also crazy golf, go-karting and even a fun fair. In addition, there is regular entertainment for all ages each evening.

The football tournament is aimed at teams from U8 – U16, and with all pitches being on site or adjacent to the site, it is with in easy walking distance from your accommodation.

FRIDAY 23rd MAY 2008

Football Festivals and Tournaments: Sussex Football Festival

On arrival at the park you will be met by a Burleigh Travel Representative who will assist you with your check in. You will then have the remainder of the day and night free to explore the park and use your leisure and entertainment passes. The modern Oasis pool complex, comprises facilities such as a Family fun pool - with water slide and Lazy River, Health suite with sun beds, massage, steam room and sauna, Competition pool with six 25-metre swimming lanes, & State-of-the-art gym, with 50 exercise stations plus plasma TV screens. While in the evening your group will be free to attend one of the on site entertainment shows.

BURLEIGH TRAVEL RECEPTION PARTY.

In the evening a reception party for the tour organiser and their coaches will be arranged. This will be hosted by Burleigh Travel, and will give you a chance to meet up, and socialise with the representatives from the other touring teams. The meeting will give you the chance to meet the Burleigh Travel Staff, representatives from the Holiday Park, and the festival organisers to discuss any issues or questions you may have about the weekend.

Throughout the evening complimentary drinks and food will be served.

SATURDAY 24TH MAY 2008

With the football pitches being located on site it makes for easy access to the pitches, which you can walk to from your accommodations.

10.00 Hours – SUSSEX FOOTBALL FESTIVAL GROUP STAGE

With the football tournament taking part through most of the day, in-between games you will be free to watch the other sides in your group play, or to make use of the park facilities, or alternatively to head back to your accommodation once your games are complete.

In the evening, you can enjoy a show in one of the themed bars or cabaret clubs on-site which is included in your price.

SUNDAY 25TH MAY 2008

10.00 Hours – SUSSEX FOOTBALL FESTIVAL FINALS

Once the football tournament finals are complete the presentations will take place, after which, the evening will be free to make use of the parks facilities and the entertainment on offer.

MONDAY 26th MAY 2008

After checking out of your accommodation the day is free to make the most of the parks facilities, you may wish to take a swim in the heated indoor pool complex before you board your coach for your journey home.
