Leicester Grammar School travelled on their second multisports tour to Australia with Burleigh Travel in July 2005. On this occasion fixtures were played in Hockey and Netball against Australian Schools in Melboure, Sydney & Cairns. The pupils spent time in hotel accommodatoin in the tourist areas of the major cities and also enjoyed time staying in the company of Australian families which again proved a memorable part of the tour for the pupils, with the highlight being a trip to the Great Barrier Reef to round off the tour. |
