The George Ward School travelled to Canada for their multisports tour, playing rugby and netball in October 2004. The 54 strong party spent time in both Niagara Falls and Toronto where they enjoyed a variety of famous attractions, including the Maid of the Mist in Niagara Falls; the open top Trolley Bus Tour of Toronto and rounded their tour off with a visit to the Toronto Skydome to watch a Toronto Argonauts American Football Match. The group played a total of 2 rugby and 4 netball fixtures against local opposition and also enjoyed meals at popular restaurants such as Wayne Gretzky's restaurant in the heart of Downtown Toronto.
