AGC Netball Club travelled on a netball tour to South Africa in April 2006; their second netball tour with Burleigh Travel (previously on a netball tour to Barbados in 2003). The tour itinerary saw the group spend time in Durban and Cape Town with a 2 night stay in Northern Natal at a Safari Lodge. Netball fixtures were played in Cape Town and Durban against local opposition and the players received a warm welcome from each of their hosts. In and around their matches, the players had ample time to relax and enjoy the various attractions that South Africa has to offer and the more adventurous chose to abseil off Table Mountain! |
