The George Ward School Rugby XV travelled to Canada on their rugby tour as part of a combined rugby and netball tour in October 2004. The 54 strong party spent time in both Niagara Falls and Toronto where they enjoyed a variety of famous attractions, including the Maid of the Mist in Niagara Falls; the open top Trolley Bus Tour of Toronto and rounded their rugby tour off with a visit to the Toronto Skydome to watch a Toronto Argonauts American Football Match. The group played a total of 2 rugby fixtures against local oposition and also enjoyed meals at popular restaurants such as Wayne Gretzky's restaurant in the heart of Downtown Toronto.
