Wootton Bassett Rugby Club U7's were one of five teams that went on rugby tour to the festival in 2007, with a total of 148 players and supporters arriving en masse from their base in Swindon. Not only does it show the popularity of the Burleigh Cup and Worthing Rugby Festival, but also the organisation levels needed to create such a successful weekend's entertainment. The U7's enjoyed success in the Burleigh Cup narrowly taking the spoils in a good final.
