| GENERAL
INFORMATION The group chose a three-night
tour to based on the outskirts of Tilburg in the South of Holland,
in one of our most popular holiday parks which boasts a wide range
of attractions for all ages. These include an indoor pool, crazy
golf and an impressive safari park, which boasts giraffes, lions,
rhinos and a host of other animal life. The lively town nearby with
its host of cafes, restaurants, bars and excellent nightlife that
continues well into the night was available to the older members
of the group should they wish to venture out of the park. The party left by coach at 08.00 hours in the presence of their Burleigh Travel representative for the journey to Dover by luxury coach and the 11.00 hours ferry to Calais. After a short crossing to France the coach transferred the group to their accommodation in Holland by 18.15 hours. The remainder of the evening was then free to make use of the excellent facilities on the complex. |

| SATURDAY 12TH APRIL | |||||||||||||||
The group participated in the
Spakenburg Rugby Festival open exclusively to teams booked through
Burleigh Travel. Here they played games against Welsh, English and
Dutch sides and Maidenhead won a hard fought final against Avonmouth.
Once the after match celebrations were complete the teams were transferred back to their accommodation to continue their celebrations. |

| SUNDAY 13TH APRIL | |||||||||||||||
 |
After breakfast the group traveled
to their second fixture against RC The Bulldogs where the visitors
won convincingly and as a reward were allowed to visit the nearby
capital Amsterdam in the afternoon. |

The group had time free to
explore this fascinating city once the after match hospitalities were
completed. |

This was a free
day to recover from the previous days rugby and one of the options
offered to the party was a trip to Holland’s famous ‘Efteling
Theme Park’ or a trip to Bruges on the way to the port for their
19.15 hours return sailing.
The Maidenhead group were a credit to their club and ambassadors for overseas tours. |
