We would recommend a visit to Bournemouth's famous beach. Stretching over 7 miles, this golden sandy beach is one of the most popular UK beaches. Its Pier gives you stunning views across the bay, framed by the Isle of Wight on one side and the Purbeck hills on the other, Bournemouth Pier also boasts a wide and varied selection of attractions, entertainments and retail outlets. There is also an Oceanarium and play park. If you don't fancy sitting on the beach all day you can rent bikes or surf boards.
