Tour Destinations in UK

We can offer sports tours to anywhere in the UK; please speak to us so that we can tailor an itinerary to your preferred destination for your group, or give you the benefit of our vast experience to suggest an ideal destination for your tour.  We are happy to provide details for groups from within the UK or for incoming tours visiting from outside of the UK.  To give you some inspiration for your next UK tour, our top 6 most popular UK destinations are:

Cheltenham, a Regency Spa town, has a variety of trips and activities to keep your group entertained, whilst the nightlife is second to none and rugby is a huge part of the local tradition!  Gloucester is also a short distance away, offering a chance to watch Premiership Rugby at Kingsholm Stadium, as well as an alternative night out.  We can also offer tenpin bowling, go karting and even clay pigeon shooting to groups visiting the area, so there really is something for everyone.  Burleigh Travel are based locally, and are always on hand to offer lots of insider knowledge on the best trips to do, places to eat, as well as the best bars to drink at!

Cardiff, with its cosmopolitan city centre where the captivating Principality Stadium dominates the skyline, and the nearby scenic Vale of Glamorgan and surrounding countryside, is an excellent choice for a sports tour.  You can enjoy diverse activities such as Quad biking and paintball games, as well as a tour of the Principality Stadium and catch a live Pro 12 game.  The capital city of Wales is also the home of Welsh Rugby and you can be sure that you will have a memorable experience both on and off the field of play.

Edinburgh, the capital city of Scotland, offers a variety of experiences for your touring party, from the historic Edinburgh Castle, to a tour of Murrayfield Stadium or a visit to Edinburgh Zoo.  You can also experience the mile long avenue of bars on Rose Street for a well earned drink.  Tours can be offered by coach or by air to this remarkable destination.

Torquay, located in the area known as the English Riviera, enjoys a mild climate and has a variety of amenities to keep your group occupied during their stay. The nearby Adventure Centre is popular with our clients where Quad Biking, paintball and many other activities can be enjoyed. This, combined with extensive nightlife, will make for a memorable tour for your group.

Blackpool is Britain’s most popular holiday destination, where you can visit the famous Pleasure Beach, home of the tallest, fastest rollercoaster in Europe. The Pepsi Max Big One stands 235ft high and has over one mile of twisting and turning at speeds of up to 87mph.  The beach is also a popular attraction for our groups, as well as the exciting nightlife on offer.

Leicester is a recent addition to our variety of UK touring destinations, but has already proven to be extremely popular with groups – adults and juniors alike!  It is ideally located in the Midlands, meaning easy travel from many areas of the country, and home to the Leicester Tigers. Northampton Saints are also nearby meaning that there is plenty of chance to see some top class rugby during your tour.  Leicester also offers an excellent nightlife, and a variety of other day trips including Twycross Zoo, home to the famous PG Tips Chimps!
