Burleigh Travel Sports Tour Co-ordinator
Martin has recently joined Burleigh Travel having previously worked in a school environment, working with various age groups and abilities. Originally from Exeter, Martin grew up with a very sporting lifestyle, playing football for his local club all the way up to u18 level and at school level. He also played rugby for his local club Exeter Saracens all the way up to the men’s team and the Exeter College Rugby team before heading off to the University of Gloucestershire to undertake a Sports coaching and education degree. Unfortunately, due to injure he was unable to partake in rugby throughout his university days. He got back into playing sport for the past couple of years, playing football but due to the likeliness of the reoccurring injury appearing again he either plays in goal or only shorter games like 5aside.
Having gone down the sporting route through school, college and university, Martin thought it was the ideal time in his life to get back into the sporting scene and the addition of travel was always a bonus.
Martin’s main sports have always been football and rugby (playing wise) but he also has a great interest in other sports such as golf, tennis, American football, and wrestling which he goes and watches whenever they come over to the UK.
Music is a massive part of Martin’s life and regularly goes to different gigs and shows.

Most Memorable Sports Tour Experience:
“For pure excitement, you can’t beat the theme parks in Florida! But for a breath-taking experience then it would have to the Nou Camp in Barcelona”
