Coronavirus - Covid-19 Pandemic

Firstly and most importantly, we hope you are and your family are all safe and well and we wish you all the best over these difficult times.

In view of the well documented implications of the unprecedented worldwide Coronavirus pandemic, we want to reassure you that that the safety and well-being of all of our touring groups is very important to us and that we are closely monitoring advice from the Government, Foreign & Commonwealth Office and ABTA.

We have been dealing with the repatriation of clients stuck in Spain and are supporting our staff who are in self isolation.

Our office is now in full lockdown and we have very limited email access but those who are able to work are working around the clock to ensure that we can assist our customers with the most urgent needs and our goal is to ensure that anyone due to travel in the next seven days has been updated on their tour and given a list of options available to them, we will not however have the resources to enter into conversations over these options at this stage.

We will continue to contact tour organisers whose travel plans have been effected.

Best wishes at what is a difficult time for us all and thanks for your understanding,

The Burleigh Travel Team

Burleigh Travel at the 2008 Cheltenham Cricket Festival

Hospitality day with staff, tour organisers & suppliers of Burleigh Travel

Burleigh Travel at the 2008 Cheltenham Cricket Festival

On Friday 8th August 2008 Burleigh Travel invited more than 70 guests to a hospitality day at the Cheltenham Cricket Festival. The guests enjoyed a Pimm’s reception, 3 course dinner and a full days cricket, depsite the recent bad weather!Burleigh Travel At The Cheltenham Cricket Festival 2008

Guests included a number of Burleigh Travels recent tourists, including Minchinhampton RFC who have been travelling with Burleigh Travel on rugby tours for more than 10 years, as well as many of Burleigh Travels suppliers, without whom we would not be able to provide our high quality sports tour packages.

During the day Burleigh Travel also ran a raffle and auction, with the proceeds going to the “Tamara Johnson Trust Fund”, a young lady who injured her spine playing Rugby in February 2008. We were able to raise a superb £950, which takes our total contribution to the trust to more than £2500! Thank you to all those who contributed to this worthy cause. Burleigh Travel would like to thank all of our guests who helped make the day a huge success, as well as Old Patesians Rugby Club who provided a 1st class service throughout the day.
