LAUGHTON CC CRICKET TOUR TO BARBADOS

The cricket club spent their 12-day tour in apartments on a complex that has a pool, restaurant, bar, supermarket and evening entertainment. Barbados offers an irresistible mix of laid-back Bajan lifestyle, where the tropical sun is fanned by the trade winds together with a host of sandy beaches dotted along the coastline. It also offers incredible nightlife, with a variety of drinks promotions in the local bars.

Laughton Cricket Club played 4 games whilst they were in Barbados.  Their final game was against Dover CC, one of the top teams on the island, and Laughton beat them with their last pair at the crease and just 2 balls remaining for a famous victory!

As well as the cricket, Laughton also took on their hosts at Maxwell CC in a game of Dominoes; the local team came out on top of this, as well as the cricket game between the 2 sides.

Laughton Cricket Club also took in several day trips to complete their Bajan experience.  These included a guided tour of the island, which proved to be very educational, as well as a Catamaran trip where they were able to snorkel with turtles, and enjoy a BBQ lunch and unlimited drinks.
