Junior Cricket Tour to Dublin

The pupils and teachers of Brentwood School had a very enjoyable cricket tour Dublin; the cosmopolitan capital of Ireland, for their second successive cricket tour with Burleigh Travel. Here, they played three cricket fixtures; each highly competitive, resulting in two victories and one narrow defeat for the Essex tourists.

The whole group were exceptionally well looked after by each of their hosts and the promise of a traditional Irish welcome was fulfilled by all three sides.

Dublin has numerous activities and places to visit including the Guinness Factory, which is a must for all groups to see how the infamous drink is made!! The group were also very well looked after by their coach driver who joined in with the songs and was very much a part of the touring party; something of importance to the success of the tour.

With their fantastic fixtures and Dublin’s numerous attractions everyone came back in agreement that a cricket tour to Dublin was an excellent choice for any school cricket tour.
