Girls Football Tour to Tramore

During their 2nd Girls Football Tour with Burleigh Travel, the players of Wolverhampton Belles Football Club visited Tramore in Southern Ireland, staying in well located secure bungalows, only 250 meters from the beach front in County Waterford. Ireland provided a contrast in tour from their previous football tour to Holland with Burleigh Travel.

With the glorious weather, the beach came in very handy for relaxing when not playing football as did the popular Splashworld indoor waterpark situated a stones throw from their accommodation.

Following successful participation in two football matches against local clubs, in their free time the group had the opportunity to visit Waterford; Ireland’s oldest tourist destination, Waterford Crystal Visitor Centre or even take a trip to Cork further along Ireland’s southern coastline. A highlight of the tour was a final group meal at a local restaurant called O’Sheas, which is always a nice way to end a football tour.
