This would be Amman Valley School’s third Canada tour with Burleigh Travel, and they spent 12 days in this amazing country, spending time in Ottawa and Toronto, with three matches against local teams and schools.

They set off from Gatwick on Friday and landed safely in Toronto, where they had the evening to settle in and explore. The following day was their first fixture against Lindsay Rugby Club.

The team spent sunday explore the local area with their hosts, before setting off to Ottawa on Monday morning. The boys had an early night as on Tuesday they were up bright and early to travel over the board to Quebec to go to Esprit White Water Rafting.

The next fixture was looming so the team travel to Cobourg High School on Wednesday for their match the following day. This gave them a chance to settle in and explore. The team now had a busy few days of rugby, first they faced Cobourg High School on Thursday, before taking part in the Magnificent 7’s Tournament at Fletcher’s Fields on Friday. Then on Saturday they played their final match against Brantford Collegiate School.

On Sunday the team set off to Niagara Falls where they boardered the Hornblower Cruise (formerly the Maid of the Mist). After the boat trip the team had the chance to explore before they took to the water again for the Whirlpool Jetboat ride!  

The next day the team travelled to Toronto where they enjoyed lunch at the Hard Rock Cafe, before heading to Ripley’s Aquarium for a tour. They finished off the day by watching the Blue Jays play baseball! 

On Tueaday the team spent the day at Canada’s Wonderland, a brilliant theme park. It is such a lark park that the boys spent two days exploring it, one day in the main park and the other in the waterpark section.

After such an action packed tour the team fly home on the Thursday.
