Senior Rugby Tour to Cheltenham

During their second senior rugby tour with Burleigh Travel, Vigo RFC chose to visit Cheltenham for two nights to sample the local atmosphere of this traditional rugby area.  During their rugby tour to Cheltenham, the players from Vigo also managed to squeeze in a fixture against local rugby club Minchinhampton RFC who provided the group with a well matched game and some great hospitality to round off their tour.

Vigo RFC repaid their hosts from Minchinhampton RFC in kind when a return fixture was played later in the year when Minchinhampton travelled to Northern Europe when a scheduled stop in Kent on the way home allowed the friendly rivalry and socialising to be renewed.
