Tour Destinations in New Zealand

Auckland, New Zealand’s largest city and formerly it’s capital, is situated between two enormous harbours and dotted with 48 extinct volcano cones.  It is a beautiful, open and cosmopolitan city as well as the country’s principal international gateway.  Auckland has a rich Polynesian heritage, and you will notice the passion for outstanding food, wine and shopping.  The Aucklander’s passion for boats has earned it the nickname, City of Sails, and indeed the harbour and the many boats within it play an important role in the city’s life.

Rotorua is one of New Zealand’s most famous tourist destinations and is best known for its Geothermal activity, sitting squarely on the Pacific Ring of Fire.  Activities and attractions abound, with something to satisfy everyone, from sightseeing to Adrenalin pumping action.   Visitors can get up close and personal with New Zealand farm life, walk through geothermal hotspots or have a thrilling 4WD experience through native bush. Rotorua is also the heartland of New Zealand's Maori culture, and visitors can enjoy a performance of song and dance, followed by food cooked in a traditional hangi (earthen oven).

Wellington, New Zealand’s capital, is a compact city, nestled between the spectacular harbour and encircled by towering green hills.  Vibrant, exciting and cultured, there is a rich political history within Wellington, and dance, theatre and musical performances are a speciality.  This combined with the attractions and activities on offer in the surrounding regions will make for a memorable touring experience.

Christchurch is the largest city in the South Island and the second largest city in New Zealand.  It is the hub of the stunning Canterbury region and is a city is alive with colour, atmosphere and world-class attractions.  Situated in the middle of New Zealand’s rugby heartland, Christchurch’s mix of Old English architecture and cutting Edge design will prove a fitting finale to your tour.
