As a local company and an avid Gloucester supporter myself we are pleased to announce that, following the successful organisation of Gloucester Rugby Supporters trips last season, we are again offering trips to Agen for the game on Friday 8th October, La Rochelle on Saturday 11th December and Rovigo over the weekend of 13th-16th January.

The Nottingham University Cricket Club touring party which consisted of fifteen (15) players (ages 19-25 years old) arrived for their cricket tour to Saint Lucia on Friday, June 18, 2010 at the Hewanorra International Airport, Vieux Fort. The tour lasted fifteen (15) days, ending on Friday, July 2, 2010 when the group departed for the United Kingdom from the Hewanorra International Airport, Vieux Fort. The group was accommodated at the Palm Haven Hotel, Rodney Bay, Gros Islet.

On the weekend of Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th May over 160 teams participated in the Amsterdam Cup Junior Football Tournament. In its 12th year this well established and brilliantly run festival is the ideal culmination to the football season and Burleigh Travel would like to congratulate the winners at each age group.

On Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd May Wimborne RFC hosted their mini rugby festivals with over 500 children taking part over the two days! On the Saturday the ‘B’ festival took place while the stronger ‘A’ sides took to the field on the Sunday. On Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th April over 250 teams from 15 countries competed in the Easter Open Junior Football Tournament in Holland. This is a well established and brilliantly organised junior football tournament and Burleigh Travel would like to congratulate the winners at every age group of this fantastic event.

Bognor Rugby Club in conjunction with Burleigh Travel hosted the Bognor RFC Mini Rugby Festival on Saturday 10th April. Over 25 teams competed in this mini rugby festival on a gloriously sunny day and lots of fantastic rugby was played.

As Part of Burleigh Travel’s continued approach towards delivering a high level of customer service, I recently travelled to Dubai on a 5 day familiarisation trip, to gain a greater understanding of how sports tours work in this vibrant cosmopolitan city.
