Senior Cricket Tour to The Netherlands

The cricketers from Meopham Cricket Club embarked on their first ever overseas tour in August 2007 and selected The Netherlands as their preferred cricket tour destination.

Based in central Amsterdam, the Kent Cricketers combined two highly competitive and very enjoyable cricket fixtures with the opportunity to explore the various entertainment on offer in one of Europe’s liveliest Cities; especially on the Leidsestraat and Dam Square and were based in ideally located accommodation to explore this! There was also the opportunity to visit The Heineken Brewery which gave them a fascinating incite in to the brewing of one of Europe’s most famous lager’s.

With the fantastic cricket and the variety of culture, entertainment and nightlife on offer the whole group felt that Amsterdam was an exceptional city for a cricket tour.
