De La Salle Academy set off to compete in the 29th instalment of the Hageland Cup, which each year attracts teams from all over Europe such as The Czech Republic, France, Germany, Holland and Switzerland. This fantastic two day event offers plenty of competitive football.

They set off on Thursday evening from their school with three teams (U12s, U13s and U15s) to make an overnight crossing via Dover to the beautiful Parc Molenheide. 

Arriving on Friday morning at 11am the team checked in and had the chance to explore the park and enjoy the facilities, which include their Aquapolis water park which has four pool and slides, indoor playground, adventure mini golf and bowling.

The next two days saw the teams playing in the Hageland Cup. De La Salle showed some real skill and talent over the weekend with the U15s winning their group on the first day and then coming 4th overall on the Sunday. The U13s only lost one match and that was to the team who won overall.
