Senior Rugby Tour to Lille
During their senior rugby tour to Lille, the players of Rochford Hundred Rugby Club Veterans were able to visit Lille’s historic features, and experience the mix of culture and modern living, combined with the typical strong tradition for rugby in France.
The location of Lille near to the Belgium border means that Brussels is also a sightseeing option, allowing tourists to visit two destinations in one tour should they wish. Upon arrival in France after the short journey across the English Channel, the players were soon frequenting the bars and restaurants in central Lille; just hours after leaving their rugby club in Rochford.
