Amsterdam is a popular choice for many adult rugby tours wishing to visit Holland and the rugby players from Llandrindod Wells Rugby Club followed in the footsteps of many of Burleigh Travel’s past rugby tourists in making the Dutch Capital their base for their weekend long rugby tour.
Amsterdam is a city renowned for its variety of culture and entertainment and, of course, its red light district and it is only the players themselves who can divulge which of Amsterdam’s attractions was most popular during their rugby tour!
The group spent time in the popular Leidsestraat area before taking in many watering holes en route to the picturesque Dam Square in the centre of the City where the tone for the rugby tour was set early in the proceedings, only to be interrupted by a keenly contested rugby match ending in a hard fought 19:19 draw!
