Junior Rugby Tour to Holland

During their rugby tour to Holland, the players from Wells Rugby Club U16’s squad were based in the popular southern part of the country in a fantastic holiday park which had plenty of on site activities to keep the boys entertained whilst they were off the rugby pitch.

The group enjoyed two matches during their four day tour of Holland, the first being played on the Saturday afternoon against Bredase RC. As the host club was in Breda, this gave the touring team a great chance to visit the local go karting centre after the post match hospitality before returning to the Holiday Park.

The following day the group travelled to Uden to play RC Octopus for the final match of the rugby tour. The host team are always very welcoming to touring rugby teams from Britain and this group were no exception! After the formalities of the game, the group were welcome to stay for the renowned Dutch ‘3rd half’ in the clubhouse.

The final day of the tour had the morning free to make use of the holiday park’s facilities before boarding the coach back to the UK.
