Senior Rugby Tour to Algarve

Their rugby tour to Albufeira, on Portugal’s famous Algarve coast, allowed the rugby players of the RAF Rugby Club to play rugby in an area justly famous for its endless expanse of clean sandy beaches. Their accommodation was ideally situated for access to the ‘The Strip’; a mile long street of bars, restaurants and discos and within walking distance of the beach.

On the pitch, the group participated in the XVII Tourneio Rugby International Loule complete with an evening meal put on by the host club Loule Rugby Club.

During the days where no match was played, they had the opportunity to indulge in one of the many excellent golf courses or a trip to a local waterpark or simply relax at the hotel pool or nearby beach.
