BRISTOL BARBARIANS RFC RUGBY TOUR TO SPAIN
Bristol Barbarians RFC enjoyed a three night rugby tour to Spain, staying in Lloret de Mar, renowned for its spectacular beaches and vibrant nightlife. The EU has awarded its beaches the Blue Flag, which is a benchmark guaranteeing the highest of standards both in terms of the quality of the water, sand and of the services. Barcelona, the capital of Catalonia, is only an hour’s drive down the coastline.
The group made excellent use of the many bars and clubs in the resort, and had a compulsory fancy dress theme to get them all into the touring spirit!
Bristol Barbarians played one game whilst on tour, against CN Poble Nou Enginyers where they were given a warm welcome with hospitality provided after the game.
