Chester-le-Street came to us as a small club with a tight budget, but still wanted to give their players a great end of season tour! We helped them organise a rugby tour to Leicester based around playing a local club on the Saturday, and watching a Premiership match on the Sunday.

The lads met at the club house on Friday morning where their coach picked them up and had them to their hotel just after lunch. They then had the chance to go out and explore Leicester’s nightlife.

On Saturday they had their tour fixture against Vipers RFC. Chester won this match, but weren’t sure how after the night before. They said it was a great fixture played in good tour spirit. The team then enjoyed some post match beers and hospitality before another night out in Leicester. 

The following day they checked out of their hotel and boarded their coach to go and watch Northampton Saints play Harlequins. This was a great game of rugby in front of over 15,000 fans, with Saints winning 29 – 23!

After the game the team made their way back to the club house after an unforgettable weekend away.
