Junior Rugby Tour to Sussex Easter Festival

Their junior rugby tour to the South Coast Easter Festival of Rugby saw the group based in immaculate six or eight berth caravans in a holiday park on the beachfront close to Chichester; which was perfect for the group. There were plenty of on site amenities to keep players entertained away form the rugby field, such as a brand new heated indoor swimming pool complex with slides and also crazy golf, go-karting, even a fun fair and a pub for the Dads! In addition, there was entertainment for all ages each evening on site. This ideal location, combined with the atmosphere of a bustling rugby club hosting multiple matches made for a memorable rugby tour.

The rugby tour proved to be an ideal way for the players to focus on their rugby, giving them vital experience of a competitive festival and a match the day before. Despite the team’s bad luck with injuries they put in some excellent performances and the parents and coaches gave superb support throughout and even had the time to relax in the club bar at the tournament venue! Their coach driver was superb and deserves a special mention for helping them with the team meal on their last night.
