Mini Rugby Tour to The Wimborne Mini Rugby Festival

The players of Minchinhampton RFC U9 and U11 sides departed for their rugby tour to the South Coast in high spirits. While on tour they enjoyed spending time on their holiday park with numerous activities including swimming, a play area and amusements to keep the boys busy while enabling the parents and coaches to relax and enjoy the touring experience!

On their first day of rugby the boys participated in the Wimborne Mini Rugby Festival. This combined a friendly atmosphere with some competitive rugby and everyone commented on the spirit in which the rugby was played. Special mention must go to the Minchinhampton U9 side who emerged victorious in their age group.

The group then enjoyed a trip along the coast for their second day of rugby during their tour and played some high quality rugby against their hosts producing some close fought matches. They were then treated to some wonderful hospitality and tour games. In the afternoon the group also had the opportunity to visit Paultons Park, a theme park close to Southampton should they wish to enjoy something different.

Everyone in the group commented on how much they enjoyed their tour and will be looking to continue enjoying rugby tours for years to come!
