General Football Tournament Information
Previously, 48 teams from various countries took part in the tournament ranging from U9 teams all the way through to U15’s. You will participate in a tournament format with around 6 games spread over two half days ensuring that the Juliana Malden Cup gives your players plenty of football whilst also allowing time for other activities, giving you a rounded and unforgettable football tour experience.
While away on Tour you will be based in one of our popular holiday parks that boasts a range of activities, which are sure to keep your group entertained throughout the duration of your stay. This safe and secure environment also offers a bar and restaurant for the older members to enjoy.
Your Football Tour Itinerary
Day 1
You will depart your club by coach where you will travel to Dover for your morning or early afternoon ferry crossing to Calais. The crossing will take approximately 1½ hours and once in France your coach will transfer you to your accommodation in Holland where the remainder of the evening will be free.
Day 2
In the Morning you will travel to the first day of Juliana Malden Cup where games will be played in a group format, giving you the chance to play against sides from around Europe. Once the days play is complete you will travel back to your park where the evening will be free to make the most of the facilities available to you. |
Day 3
Again in the morning you will return to the tournament venue to take part in the second day of competition when the finals will be played and the winners for each age group decided. At the end of play the presentation ceremony will take place. |
Day 4
The morning will be free to use the facilities at your holiday park until you travel to the ferry port for your late afternoon return sailing, arriving in Dover approximately 1 ½ hours later to complete your journey home.
