General Rugby Festival Information
Your accommodation will be at one of the Holiday Parks we use in South Devon or just over the border in Cornwall, and will provide an excellent base for like minded rugby people enjoying a fantastic rugby weekend over the popular May Bank Holiday weekend; allowing you to maximise your time on tour!
There is plenty to do to at the Holiday Park with onsite activities such as an adventure playground, crazy golf, kids’ club and swimming pool and this is all available to keep you entertained away from the rugby field and add to the weekend’s fun.
After dark, enjoy an action packed onsite entertainment programme and enjoy a drink as the sun goes down.

The surrounding area has plenty to explore as the holiday parks are located within a few miles of some of the UK’s best beaches such as Looe, as well as picturesque coastal villages such as Polperro. Not to mention that the area is rated one of the highest for outstanding natural beauty.
Alternative Accommodation at PGL Barton Hall……….
Located on the outskirts of Torquay, in the heart of the English Riviera and close to Dartmoor. Barton Hall has some amazing facilities including an outdoor heated pool, abseiling and a giant swing.
Your accommodation will mainly consist of modern 4-berth rooms, all of which have en-suite facilities.
All Inclusive Activities……
Each of the players will receive a number of exciting daily activities as part of their tour package, such as abseiling, archery, giant swing and zip-wire. These will be tailored around your rugby.
And Evening Activities…..
We appreciate the difficulty in keeping your group entertained in the evenings so you will be delighted to know that your program for the weekend will also include an evening activity program each night for players which will be a great opportunity for team bonding and fun.
The activities include camp fires, capture the flag and sports night!
Meals…
Another key benefit of this option is that all your meals are included in your tour cost. So there are no headaches of trying to find large venues to accommodate your group.
Meals are freshly cooked, balanced and will give your group plenty of energy to keep them going throughout the day when playing rugby.
The Rugby….
The rugby festival will be hosted at Ivybridge Rugby Club and will provide U7-U15 age groups with a fun and inclusive festival where they can test their rugby skills against new opposition in a festival format that provides the maximum amount of rugby for any one day, in line with RFU guidelines.
At the Festival you will be joined by other touring teams as well as the hosts and other local clubs to make for an enjoyable and memorable experience.
