Set along one of the UK’s most beautiful stretches of coastline, with fresh sea air and scenic surroundings, it provides the perfect seaside setting for your Rugby by the Sea Festival Tour.

Its convenient location, combined with a great range of on-site amenities and nearby attractions, ensures that this festival weekend will be extremely memorable. Skirlington Holiday Park offers the ideal balance of comfort, fun, and accessibility, making it the perfect choice for your group.

Your Accommodation

The Skirlington Coast resort has high quality static caravans available and they will provide you with all the home comforts to ensure you have an enjoyable break.

There are also a wide range of different upgrade options for those of you who like some added luxury together with all the essentials you need for a truly relaxing stay.

The Entertainment

The evening entertainment programme will prove popular with your group, where you will be able to enjoy a fantastic range of entertainment including live music, tribute acts, family shows and game-show style evenings which are included in your tour costs.

The venue also offers a great selection of food options at the Wonky Donkey Bar & Kitchen, along with additional cafés and takeaways across the resort, where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner. Financial Protection

Burleigh Travel has always had consumer protection in place to make good any money paid to us in the event of the financial collapse or failure of an airline, hotel or any other provider. This pledge has been honoured since the foundation of Burleigh Travel in 1998 and no client has suffered financial loss from such a failure.

Total Payment Protection (topp) Policy cover:
For non-flight packages, in compliance with The Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018, an insurance policy has been arranged with Travel & General Insurance Services Limited (T&G) to protect customers’ prepayments in the unlikely event of our financial failure and paid in respect of non-flight packages sold by the Policyholder as principal to the contract.

Please be aware, this protection will not be available if you arrange your own tour or if you book through a company not offering this type of cover.

Key Booking Points

When considering who to book your tour with, always ask for evidence of the following key points

1. Financial Protection
Burleigh Travel has always had consumer protection in place to make good any money paid to us in the event of the financial collapse or failure of an airline, hotel or any other provider and this pledge has been honoured since the foundation of Burleigh Travel in 1998 and no client has suffered financial loss from such a failure. How this is done is clearly displayed on our website so it is very important that you can see a clear statement on any other operators website on how they are protecting your money.

2. How Long Has The Company Been Trading?
An important consideration when deciding on who to book with, is how established the company is. Burleigh Travel was established in 1998 and have therefore been arranging rugby tours for almost 30 years and as such we are one of the longest standing providers and market leaders for mini and junior rugby tours. Don’t be fooled by new companies claiming they have many years experience in arranging tours; check when they were actually established, as every year there are several new companies set up and then disappear or offer substandard events so always check out their background and the customer feedback of their products.

A very quick way to check whether the company you are planning to book with are well-established, is to check on the Companies House website where you can search for the company by name. In the Overview section, you can then check when they were established, if they have any overdue accounts warnings or strike off actions against them, and also the termination of appointments.

3. Customer Trustpilot & Google Reviews
We pride ourselves on the excellent feedback we have received from previous clubs like yourselves and currently have over 250 five star Trustpilot reviews which can be found here and over 130 five star Google reviews here. We feel these clubs are very reflective of your own group and consequently should help install confidence in the service you will receive from Burleigh Travel.

We would urge you to be very cautious of booking with anyone who does not have a similar amount of recent five-star reviews on these two key sites or if they do not even have a Trustpilot or Google review site registered.

4. RFU Approval
Last season all our UK Festivals were approved by the RFU and have been fully risk assessed, this is not the case with many other rugby festivals so please check with the county where the event is being held to see if permission was granted last season and if it’s likely to be granted again before making a booking.

Creating Memories

Burleigh Travel are very proud of the tours we have provided for more than 30 years. We have heard so many stories over the years of team building, new friendships developing and life long memories being made.

Many players, coaches and parents have missed out on the touring experience in recent times, but we hope you choose to join us at the West Country Challenge to create these memories for your team!

Don't just take our word for it ...

The tour was great and Scott Laird was incredibly
helpful every step of the way so thank you!
We used Burleigh travel to book a Rugby tour for
40 people (adults and children). The
accommodation was great and the rugby
tournament was well run with medals and a trophy
for the best player.
We had to make changes along the way and they
were always available and really accommodating
and supportive.

Chichester RFC U12

Firstly, I'd like to thank you for the
organisation. Everything went really smoothly
and my players have really enjoyed
themselves. The accommodation was a high
standard and the onsite facilities were great.
The rugby was great too. A well organised
event with a good standard of play

Stowmarket U15’s

“Touring with Burleigh Travel is so easy from start to finish. The
company provides excellent literature in reference to the tour
itinerary, what you read is what you get. As a club we have travelled 4
times with Burleigh. Once many years ago and three times in
successive years. When you arrive on the tour you are greeted at the
arrival meeting then on the rugby festival day the staff are at the tent
to register you and are available throughout the festival for response
to any questions you may have. At the festival the company work
hard to match clubs in games so as they are equally matched.
Overall, we at Pinner RFC have had a great experience when using
Burleigh Travel and have already sorted our tour for 2025 with them.”
