Junior Football Tour to Lloret de Mar
During their football tour to Lloret de Mar on Spain’s popular ‘Costa Brava’ the players of Nab Wood Junior Football Club U16 age group were able to combine football in one of Europe’s leading footballing destinations, memorable sightseeing and relaxation on some of the best beaches in Europe that have achieved the coveted EU Blue Flag grade.
One of the highlights of the tour was a trip to the magnificent Nou Camp, home of the footballing giants; FC Barcelona, where the players marveled at the size and stature of this iconic stadium before spending time in the stadium museum and enjoying time in Barcelona itself to take in sights such as the ‘Magic Fountains’ and the popular ‘Las Ramblas’.
The young footballers from West Yorkshire played two very competitive football matches, hosted by two fantastic local clubs, each with excellent facilities. The football provided an excellent focal point for the tour and ensured the boys had a wonderful football tour to this region of Spain.
