Having organised our tour to Amsterdam in 2022, the opportunity to go to Malta thanks to Burleigh was not one we were going to pass up on. Burleigh organised a 44 man cricket tour for our uni lads, providing our boys with lifelong memories, 2 fixtures at the stunning Marsa Cricket Club, a well situated hotel and an overall incredible trip.

I couldn’t recommend highly enough using Burleigh if you’re looking to go on a sports tour.

University of Birmingham Cricket Society tour to Malta - June 2024

Excellent Tour, Barbados is a wonderful destination for both sport and social aspects of the tour. The accommodation was ideal, central location, check in was quick and smooth, clean, AC and nice balconies, well equipped kitchens, pool bar was well stocked and excellent food. The coach driver was efficient and punctual.

The Boat Yard is good fun, Catamaran tour is excellent, Harbour lights and Oistins Fish Market are musts for anyone touring Barbados. Renting out a car on a free day was a worthwhile experience as they drive on the same side as we do and the roads utilise roundabouts etc so wasn’t entirely different from driving back home which enabled us to see more of the island then we normally would. Hal’s karaoke bar on the Gap is great and both times we’ve visited we’ve met New Zealand, Australia, South African and West Indies professional cricketers in Hal’s when they’ve been on national duty; bit surreal seeing a current Australian international cricketer belting out “teenage dirtbag” on the karaoke . Also, Franks bar is the perfect base at nights for a tour group when you just want a chilled evening.  Burleigh Travel you have been excellent, will come back to you for our tour in 2 years time.

Everyone had a great time! It was really well organised by yourselves and we had a good group going. Location was great, rooms were what we expected given our price range. Staff were very friendly and the facilities went above and beyond expectations. There were multiple different drivers, but they were all very friendly. Both teams we played against were very friendly and everyone enjoyed themselves. Very good service and overall package.

Overall, the tour was a success. We had a great time being tourists, sampling the local bars and nightclubs, and also playing the games. I’m extremely happy with how everything turned out and it was a great relief to see everyone enjoying themselves!
