The Easter break is the perfect time to take your team away on tour, and is when most of our mini and junior touring teams go away. The time off school allows you to travel up on the Friday afternoon, and even head back Monday morning. We have teamed up with Dearne Valley Activity Centre to offer a weekend tour that combines team building activities with either a fantastic rugby festival or fixtures against local teams.
Dearne Valley Activity Centre
Dearne Valley is a state of the art activity centre spread over 50 acres of grass and woodland in the beautiful rolling hills of South Yorkshire. The site has a range of challenging apparatus such as zip lines, climbing walls, high ropes and a leap of faith. Combining a variety of activity sessions, from aerial adventures to fun problem-solving initiatives, your team will enjoy a programme of adventure experiences which encourage them to bond and work together as a team. We’ll work to build a programme for you from a range of physically and mentally challenging activities, tailored to the age of your players to provide them with an exciting and memorable outdoor adventure.
The Dearne Valley Easter Rugby Festival
Date: 6th – 8th April Age groups: U12 – U15
Arriving Friday afternoon we will start the weekend off with some activities, dinner and the Burleigh Travel welcome party. The next day your team will enjoy a full day of team building activities as the centre, followed by evening entertainment for all the teams. On Sunday morning you will head to the Dearne Valley Rugby Festival where your team will enjoy a full day of rugby against local and touring teams, designed to offer you the most amount of rugby allowed within RFU guidelines.

The Doncaster Mini Rugby Festival 2018
Date: 13th – 15th April Age groups: U7 – U12
Arriving on Friday afternoon you will have some evening activities and dinner to enjoy. The following day you will have a full day of activities, from high ropes to team building challenges, before dinner and some evening entertainment and more activities. The following morning you will head to Doncaster Rugby Club for their Mini Rugby Festival. You will have the chances to play a range of local sides, as well as our touring clubs for a full day of rugby.

A Bespoke Fixture Based Rugby Tour
Dates: 6th – 8th or 13th – 15th April
We understand that rugby festivals aren’t for everyone. Some teams prefer to enjoy just one game against a local team, followed by some post-match hospitality. Our strong links with teams in South Yorkshire mean we can offer a bespoke fixture-based tour to Dearne Valley for mini or junior teams. You will still have the opportunity to enjoy all of the amazing activities at Dearne Valley, and then a game against a local club.
