Over the last 27 years of organising sports tours to destinations around the world, we have been faced with a number of high profile occurrences that have brought their challenges to our team at Burleigh Travel; but none quite like this.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the numerous clubs who have sent us such kind messages of thanks and support and to the 91 teams who we have successfully worked with to transfer their tours to future rugby festivals. These teams can now reward their players with something to look forward to and create a great rugby environment for them once the game we all love returns.
We wanted to share one such message that was posted online by Reeds Weybridge RFC Mini Section who were due to be returning form the 2020 edition of the Bournemouth Rugby Festival today, having enjoyed a fantastic weekend of rugby and another memorable Burleigh Travel rugby tour. It was not to be this year in view of these unprecedented circumstances, but the young rugby players form Reeds Weybridge RFC can look forward to a rugby tour to remember to Bournemouth in 2021.
The support and kind words of our touring teams is really appreciated and thank you to Huw, his coaches, team managers, volunteers and parents at Reeds Weybridge RFC. Please stay safe and well during these extraordinary times.
