We are delighted to welcome teams back touring again following the disruption of the past two seasons.
Burleigh Travel are pleased to share the success of our first rugby festival of 2021 and would like to thank everyone that has made this possible, including Ivybridge Rugby Club, the holiday park and all the teams that travelled down with us over the bank holiday weekend, that without their support it wouldn’t have been possible.
Friday 28th May
Teams arrived at Trelawne Manor Holiday Park in glorious sunshine where they, where they were greeted by the Burleigh Travel Team who helped them check into their accommodation.
They were able to make use of the park’s facilities including the outdoor pool or explore the nearby beaches before the team organisers, coaches and captains were invited to the Burleigh Travel Reception Party where the weekends arrangements and the Festival Format were discussed while the group enjoyed complimentary drinks and food.

Sunday 30th May
With an action packed day of rugby ahead, the teams departed the holiday park to Ivybridge Rugby Club, with the amazing state of the art 365 rugby pitch. The festival provided the players with a fun day of rugby, playing against other touring teams and local sides.
As well as the rugby, the day involved a BBQ and live music, along with a trophy presentation for each age group to conclude the festival.
The final evening was for everyone to enjoy at their own leisure, taking full advantage of the holiday parks relaxing terrace bar area and evening entertainment facilities for a final time!
Monday 31st May
Before departing home, the teams had the chance to enjoy their last day on tour, staying on the holiday park or exploring the South Coast further, to picturesque villages such as Polperro and Looe.

Under 12s Rugby tour at the Big Devon Bash- wow!
We have just returned from a Bank Holiday weekend away on rugby tour with the Stroud under 12s and it was a fantastic experience for the whole family! The accommodation that was organised for us was in Looe, Cornwall and the tournament at Ivybridge RFU. The quality of the accommodation and site was perfect, entertainment, a take away restaurant, a lovely park and pool and lots of open green space for the children to play. The tournament its self was very well organised and the boys had a fabulous time. We’ll be buzzing for weeks and will definitely use Burleigh Travel again.

Just had another fantastically organised trip away, this time to the big Devon Bash with Burleigh Travel, well run throughout, reps always on hand if required, even laid on the ?! Worthing boys are happy!

Haywards Heath RFC U16s Rugby Tour 2021!
Just returned from The Big Devon Rugby Bash with 37 Under 16s! Fantastic weekend had by all! A big thank you to Chris and all the team at Burleigh Travel for putting together such a great weekend of rugby in these trying times! Our boys and parents had a fantastic time and enjoyed meeting many other like minded people! A great escape from what has become the ‘Norm’! Thanks again, Dan V
We went as part of the Camberley under 12 rugby team for the rugby tournament. Lovely accommodation and onsite…
Lovely accommodation and onsite entertainment. We had a wonderful time, swimming sessions really well organised and supervised.
The pitches we played on were great and we got doughnuts at the end.
