Pinner Rugby Club end of season tour. Touring with Burleigh Travel is so easy…
Touring with Burleigh Travel is so easy from start to finish. The company provides excellent literature in reference to the tour itinerary, what you read is what you get. As a club we have travelled 3 times with Burleigh. Once many years ago and twice this year and last year. When you arrive on the tour you are greeted at the arrival meeting then on the rugby festival day the staff are at the tent to register you and are available throughout the festival for response to any questions you may have. At the festival the company work hard to match clubs in games so as they are equally matched.
Overall we at Pinner RFC have had a great experience when using Burleigh Travel, and will look at their tours that are available for the 2024 tour season.
Bournemouth Festival- Enfield Ignatians…
After 2 years of Covid disruption we finally got to tour again, and what a fantastic tour it was! The whole team from Burleigh were fantastic, both in the lead up to the festival and over the weekend itself. Carolyn was always on hand to answer questions and it was lovely to meet her and the team in person at the festival. We had a brilliant weekend and wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again! Roll on 2023!
Under 12s Rugby tour at the Big Devon Bash- wow!
We have just returned from a Bank Holiday weekend away on rugby tour with the Stroud under 12s and it was a fantastic experience for the whole family! The accommodation that was organised for us was in Looe, Cornwall and the tournament at Ivybridge RFU. The quality of the accommodation and site was perfect, entertainment, a take away restaurant, a lovely park and pool and lots of open green space for the children to play. The tournament its self was very well organised and the boys had a fabulous time. We’ll be buzzing for weeks and will definitely use Burleigh Travel again.
Fantastic Tour!
This was the second year we have worked with Burleigh Travel to arrange our junior tour and again it was fantastic!
All of the team are brilliant, helpful and friendly. Nothing is ever too much trouble and they are prepared for everything. The whole tour (just like last year) was arranged with precision and plenty of communication. We attended the West Country Tour this year and our lads had a great time! The accommodation and sire facilities were great, allowing for the parents to have fun too! The beach was great for training activities and there was plenty to do – the lads enjoyed a few hours at the theme park and we were able to get discounted tickets which was helpful. The festival was also well organised, good food facilities and hospitality too.
Thank you for another great tour and we have already booked for next year! Thank you also for making arranging a tour so easy!

Rugby Tour
My son and his team mates took part in the Big Devon Bash U15s tournament weekend.
We stayed ay South Bay Brixham and could not fault the accommodation and facilities.
The whole weekend was great fun and was thoroughly enjoyed by all who took part.

From start to finish the Burleigh Travel team were fantastic in all elements of communication, organisation and coordination on behalf of our U15’s Rugby Team who stayed at South Bay Holiday Park, Brixham and participated in the Big Devon Bash 2023. The accommodation was excellent and event ran smoothly on the day. It was great to also meet some of the Burleigh team who were very hands on the day of the tournament. Thanks to Ivybridge RFC for hosting. Would highly recommend the team for future tour bookings and believe a large number of our M&J section are considering for 2024. Great service, thank you again.
Another Fantastic Tour
This was the second year Esher toured with Burleigh Travel and we had another fantastic time. We stayed in North Cornwall and participated in the Big Devon Bash. The festival itself was well organised and all the boys enjoyed playing the other teams. We stayed at Trelawne Manor Holiday Park and had a great time. We enjoyed the entertainment and facilities and the accommodation was clean and modern. All our communications with Burleigh through were good and they coped well with all our changes and additions.

Holywood Minis had a fantastic tour with Burleigh Travel. Stress and hassle free for coaches and a tremendous experience for all players. Well organised, excellent communication through the planning and lead up to the tour. Great facilities with outdoor pursuits activities that the kids loved. Superb opportunity for building confidence and team spirit. The rugby tournament was really enjoyable. We got 5 matches played with a great sense of good rugby values and camaraderie. Once we got on our coach everything ran like clockwork and as coaches we were left free to encourage and support rather than worry about any practicalities or logistics. It’s the first time our club had organised s tour through Burleigh travel and I would have no hesitation recommending it to the tourists who will be coming after us.

We have just returned from our rugby tour to Dearne Valley.
From start to finish dealing with Burleigh has been fantastic, straightforward and simple.
All my emails were replied too quickly and efficiently. Any concerns or not quite understanding something they were on hand to help. They made the tour of 36 as easy as it could be and it really was.
Would highly recommend using this travel company. We will hopefully be returning with our younger teams!

Amazing all learners loved the football tour, accommodation, organisation with tour guide Angel, transfer to and from airport/fixtures couldn’t fault it. Leicester Lions rugby tour to Dearne Valley
Our Under 11’s Rugby team from Leicester Lions, had a fantastic tour at Dearne Valley activity centre. All the staff, accommodation, food and activities were excellent! The booking experience through Burleigh Travel was really smooth and the kids really enjoyed the rugby tournament on the Sunday! Top time in Malta…
St Julians in Malta is a fantastic destination for a rugby tour. The hotel was excellent and the resort has great bars and restaurants, with some good clubs for the younger members of the team. The hospitality shown by our host rugby club was great and the Maltese people were very friendly. Burleigh recommended this tour to us, and we at Chepstow rfc would wholeheartedly recommend it to any clubs in the UK.

Yatton Colts Amsterdam Rugby Tour
Just came back from rugby tour to Amsterdam, arranged by Burleigh Travel. This company are excellent and take all the stress out of arranging an overseas tour for a large group (44). When faced with industrial action by Port workers in Calais, they were onto it straight away and got us onto a different ferry to avoid the strike times. They have good relationships with the accommodation providers and also the host clubs. We played RC Gouda, who were fantastic hosts and really enjoyed having a UK club visit. We would definitely use Burleigh again. Arranging this type of tour from scratch would be very stressful, even without ferry disruption. They made it very easy!

Organising a Rugby Tour can always be daunting, especially Under 16s. Thanks to those at Burleigh Travel, took away the associated pressures, working to our budget and providing advise and suggestions to enhance our requirements.
Burleigh provided timely advise and realistic deadlines to submit information, in order to provide help. Amsterdam 2022 Tour
Another fantastic and memorable experience with Burleigh Travel.
After waiting for this tour for a number of years it was truly worth the wait. Burleigh Travel organised a very enjoyable match against RFC Gouda, where the host were extremely accommodating. When we weren’t playing rugby, we had numerous activities to keep us entertained for the whole tour party. The accommodation and travel were all top notch making the experience even better. I would definitely recommend any sports club to use this company as they make the whole thing really easy to deal with, I will definitely be using them again as my tour provider.
Superb Amsterdam U22 rugby tour
Just returning home from our Burleigh travel rugby tour, this time with my two, young adult sons. What a fantastic time in sunny Amsterdam. Very smooth and efficient journey and comfortable coach travel. Very central hostel accommodation, great facilities, very clean, but basic rooms with excellent bathroom facilities.
The organised events ran very smoothly and were ideally suited to the needs of our mixed group. Great value Amsterdam river cruise and the organised fixture with Gouda RFC could not have been better. The rugby was competitive and their hospitality was second to none – we all came away feeling thoroughly enriched by the experience, reinforcing our belief in the extended rugby family. Overall, couldn’t fault the tour, thanks guys!

Rugby Tour to Amsterdam – July’22
Our u21s team has just returned from a cracking tour to Amsterdam. We stayed in central hotel with large communal areas which is great for a large group.
We played a match at Gouda RFC who are great.hosts – nice ground, competitive friendly rugby, abundant and welcoming hospitality for us after the match with many Gouda players and supporters joining us for food and refreshments.
For our day or rest, we went on a boat trip around the canals of Amsterdam – this worked really well for our large group.We’d like to thank the team at Burleigh Travel for arranging and running a fun, trouble free and truly memorable tour.

Lovely accommodation and onsite entertainment. We had a wonderful time, swimming sessions really well organised and supervised.
The pitches we played on were great and we got doughnuts at the end.

Towcestrian’s Colts Tour
Despite all of the Covid changes, restrictions and concerns the guys at Burleigh still managed to arrange a brilliant end of season tour for us to Croft Farm & Cheltenham North RFC.
Everything went smoothly and the facilities at Croft Farm are brilliant for a touring group. The food was excellent & well managed (own dining area to keep everyone Covid safe), and the Watersports on the final day capped a great weekend!
Thanks all for your hard work & giving our age group a fitting send off from Junior rugby!

Our U16 team end of season rugby tour was arranged and book through Burleigh Travel. Parents and players had a great experience in Cornwall, staying at a lovely holiday site which provided full accommodation and leisure facilities for the whole group.
The rugby tournament on the Sunday was excellently organised with a very good standard of teams.
