Harlow U10 travelled to the Rugby for Heroes Mini Festival in April 2025 for their first ever tour and had an amazing time. The tour was a huge success and this was mainly due to the team at Burleigh. From the beginning of the process to the weekend itself the staff at Burleigh including Scott and Lucy were brilliant. They ensured that all my questions were answered and were on hand at the event for any help that we may need. We had provisionally booked next Season’s tour before we had even been on this one!

We used Burleigh travel to book a Rugby tour for 40 people (adults and children). The accommodation was great and the rugby tournament was well run with medals and a trophy for the best player. The staff were excellent and and always helpful over the phone and via email. We had to make changes along the way and they were always available and really accomodating and supportive.

Touring with Burleigh Travel is so easy from start to finish. The company provides excellent literature in reference to the tour itinerary, what you read is what you get. As a club we have travelled 3 times with Burleigh. Once many years ago and twice this year and last year. When you arrive on the tour you are greeted at the arrival meeting then on the rugby festival day the staff are at the tent to register you and are available throughout the festival for response to any questions you may have. At the festival the company work hard to match clubs in games so as they are equally matched.
Overall we at Pinner RFC have had a great experience when using Burleigh Travel, and will look at their tours that are available for the 2024 tour season.

Westcliff RFC U15s tour to Hilversum RFC in Holland was a fantastic experience for the squad. Burleigh were brilliant from start to finish in organising our tour which included ferry, accommodation, half board, day at a theme park and participation in the rugby festival. Our U15 team had a great tour at the West Country Challenge in April 2025. The host club Yatton FC as well as the team from Burleigh travel were very welcoming and professional. The accommodation at Unity Caravan Park was fantastic and there was so much for the boys to do in their down time which was great. It was fantastic value for money as well and I would not hesitate to recommend Burleigh Travel to anyone who wanted to go on a first rate rugby tour.

Ivybridge U15’s tour was nothing short of amazing a gang of lads (princesses) set off to Cheltham for a fun packed rugbytastic weekend playing a local team on Saturday followed by the VIP day at Gloucester rugby club! Thanks to Burleigh Travel even when we had a last minute hitch the team acted quickly and professionally to iron the hitch out and delivered a tour that was ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ when it comes to a tour the team at Burleigh Travel deliver! ….. Great Experience
Wow, where to start? So this was our inaugural tour and we quite frankly didn’t know where to begin, other than the fact we wanted to go to the Big Devon Bash. We needn’t have worried, Burleigh were superb throughout the whole process. Any questions, they were quick to respond any clarifications, they cleared up in no time and were responsive and clear throughout. The accommodation was more than adequate. It was clean and comfortable enough. Food pretty good, activities for the kids, could maybe be a bit better suited to the age group, (ZIP lining was really well received but Aero ball didn’t really get the boys too excited). We stayed at Barton Hall PGL in Torquay. The festival itself was really well organised and there was a great atmosphere throughout. There was a slight mismatch in our first pool game, but I suppose that will happen sometimes. Saturday night back at the accommodation was a really great atmosphere. A cracking band “The Sound”, lots of after tournament stories shared and new friends made. Just a great experience all round. Cant wait for next year.

The whole from start to finish was brilliant, coach company and drivers were very helpful and friendly, made the travel experience enjoyable.
The venue where we stayed was by perfect, loads going on for the lads to do, our trip into Amsterdam was memorable and the tournament was very well run and unfortunately we had a serious injury but the medical team both at the tournament and at the hospital were excellent.
Would recommend this trip and Burleigh Travel to other sporting teams.

I recently recently a rugby tour to Spain for 63 tourists (27 players, 36 coaches, parents, sibling). The cost was very competitive.
Transfer, hotel facilities location and itinerary perfectly suited our requirements and expectations.

Excellent Tour To Netherlands!
Booked the tour with Burleigh last season for this Easter to Hilversum International Youth Rugby Festival. All the info was clear, we knew exactly what payments were due etc and when. Comms all by email so had hard copies of everything. All info required was in the final travel pack as well.
Local bus company used, everything went to plan and a great time had by all!
Would definitely recommend Burleigh to organise a tour, does take a lot of the stress out of it especially for international travel, organising of ferries, timings etc.

We travelled to The Netherlands for the Hilversum festival over the Easter weekend. Had a fantastic weekend, we opted for the premium accommodation which was absolutely fantastic and even came with it’s own mini sauna! This was our second year with Burleigh travelling to the Hilversum festival and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves on both occasions and would definitely recommend the premium upgrade. After 2 years of Covid disruption we finally got to tour again, and what a fantastic tour it was! The whole team from Burleigh were fantastic, both in the lead up to the festival and over the weekend itself. Carolyn was always on hand to answer questions and it was lovely to meet her and the team in person at the festival. We had a brilliant weekend and wouldn’t hesitate to book with them again! We have just returned from a Bank Holiday weekend away on rugby tour with the Stroud under 12s and it was a fantastic experience for the whole family! The accommodation that was organised for us was in Looe, Cornwall and the tournament at Ivybridge RFU. The quality of the accommodation and site was perfect, entertainment, a take away restaurant, a lovely park and pool and lots of open green space for the children to play. The tournament its self was very well organised and the boys had a fabulous time. We’ll be buzzing for weeks and will definitely use Burleigh Travel again.

Fantastic Tour!
This was the second year we have worked with Burleigh Travel to arrange our junior tour and again it was fantastic!
All of the team are brilliant, helpful and friendly. Nothing is ever too much trouble and they are prepared for everything. The whole tour (just like last year) was arranged with precision and plenty of communication. We attended the West Country Tour this year and our lads had a great time! The accommodation and sire facilities were great, allowing for the parents to have fun too! The beach was great for training activities and there was plenty to do – the lads enjoyed a few hours at the theme park and we were able to get discounted tickets which was helpful. The festival was also well organised, good food facilities and hospitality too.
Thank you for another great tour and we have already booked for next year! Thank you also for making arranging a tour so easy!

Another Fantastic Tour
This was the second year Esher toured with Burleigh Travel and we had another fantastic time. We stayed in North Cornwall and participated in the Big Devon Bash. The festival itself was well organised and all the boys enjoyed playing the other teams. We stayed at Trelawne Manor Holiday Park and had a great time. Holywood Minis had a fantastic tour with Burleigh Travel. Stress and hassle free for coaches and a tremendous experience for all players. Well organised, excellent communication through the planning and lead up to the tour. Great facilities with outdoor pursuits activities that the kids loved. Superb opportunity for building confidence and team spirit. The rugby tournament was really enjoyable. We got 5 matches played with a great sense of good rugby values and camaraderie. Once we got on our coach everything ran like clockwork and as coaches we were left free to encourage and support rather than worry about any practicalities or logistics. St Julians in Malta is a fantastic destination for a rugby tour. The hotel was excellent and the resort has great bars and restaurants, with some good clubs for the younger members of the team. The hospitality shown by our host rugby club was great and the Maltese people were very friendly. Yatton Colts Amsterdam Rugby Tour
Just came back from rugby tour to Amsterdam, arranged by Burleigh Travel. This company are excellent and take all the stress out of arranging an overseas tour for a large group (44). When faced with industrial action by Port workers in Calais, they were onto it straight away and got us onto a different ferry to avoid the strike times. They have good relationships with the accommodation providers and also the host clubs. We played RC Gouda, who were fantastic hosts and really enjoyed having a UK club visit. We would definitely use Burleigh again. Arranging this type of tour from scratch would be very stressful, even without ferry disruption. They made it very easy!

Another fantastic and memorable experience with Burleigh Travel.
After waiting for this tour for a number of years it was truly worth the wait. Burleigh Travel organised a very enjoyable match against RFC Gouda, where the host were extremely accommodating. When we weren’t playing rugby, we had numerous activities to keep us entertained for the whole tour party. The accommodation and travel were all top notch making the experience even better. I would definitely recommend any sports club to use this company as they make the whole thing really easy to deal with, I will definitely be using them again as my tour provider.

Just returning home from our Burleigh travel rugby tour, this time with my two, young adult sons. What a fantastic time in sunny Amsterdam. Very smooth and efficient journey and comfortable coach travel. Very central hostel accommodation, great facilities, very clean, but basic rooms with excellent bathroom facilities.
The organised events ran very smoothly and were ideally suited to the needs of our mixed group. Great value Amsterdam river cruise and the organised fixture with Gouda RFC could not have been better. The rugby was competitive and their hospitality was second to none – we all came away feeling thoroughly enriched by the experience, reinforcing our belief in the extended rugby family. Our u21s team has just returned from a cracking tour to Amsterdam. We stayed in central hotel with large communal areas which is great for a large group.
We played a match at Gouda RFC who are great.hosts – nice ground, competitive friendly rugby, abundant and welcoming hospitality for us after the match with many Gouda players and supporters joining us for food and refreshments.
For our day or rest, we went on a boat trip around the canals of Amsterdam – this worked really well for our large group.We’d like to thank the team at Burleigh Travel for arranging and running a fun, trouble free and truly memorable tour.
