On the 4th September 2013 Burleigh Travel will hold an evening of champagne, delicious food and rugby banter in the luxury surroundings of the Hotel du Vin in Cheltenham in aid of the Rugby Players Association charity Restart.
The highlight of the evening will be an open floor Q & A session with Gloucester Rugby star and England International Freddie Burns and Glucester Rugby stalwart Andy Deaon.
|Freddie joined the Gloucester Rugby Academy from local rivals Bath and is now a regular feature in the Gloucester side. He gained his cap in England over New Zealand in December 2012 and was the Premierships Top Point Scorer last season.|
|Andy spanned both the amateur and professional era where he amassed a total of 321 first team appearances. He has represented England and the Barbarians and remains heavily involved in the game through his role as Director of Rugby at Cinderford RFC.|
During the evening there will be a charity auction in aid of Restart.
Restart provides financial, practical and emotional support to ill and injured players, during and after their professional rugby career. Read about some of the amazing and inspirational stories of people we have helped.

In recent years, this event has raised money for two fellow rugby players, firstly a lady rugby player from Bath RFC named Tamara Jonson who suffered a spinal injury whilst playing rugby and secondly for one of our touring junior rugby players Callum Edwards from Edwardians RFC in the Midlands who sadly contracted bone cancer. The money rasied by the events has a great help to both on theri journey to good health.
We would like to thank all who have purchased tickets for the evening for your continued support and look forward to seeing you on what is sure to be another succesful evening that will raise funds for a truly worthy Cause.
