This September we were pleased to offer a once in a life time opportunity to one of our touring rugby teams to take one of their players and a family member to have a day that they would never forget. In a unique experience, they would join the privileged few who have graced the hallowed Twickenham turf and be coached by some of England Rugby’s finest legends, whilst also enjoying the opportunity to explore behind the scenes at Twickenham Stadium, the home of English rugby.
The day started with a brilliant guided tour of the changing rooms in Twickenham. Here you were able to see where the players from current squad prepare before the game and where legends sat before them, players like Jonny Wilkinson, Martin Johnson and Austin Healey.
After the guided tour, the group lined up in the tunnel and ran out onto the hallowed turf and take part in singing the national anthem like the players have done for many years! The players then got to take part in a skill coaching session lead by rugby legend Lewis Moody. After the session, the fortunate participants took their opportunity to get photos and autographs with the rugby legends.
