During their college Hockey tour to Holland the players from Berkshire Agricultural College were based in the South of Holland, on the outskirts of one of the areas liveliest towns. The accommodation was of a high standard with an excellent bar and restaurant serving a large buffet style breakfast.
The lively town nearby with its host of cafes, restaurants, bars and excellent nightlife that continues well into the night was available to the group should they wish to venture out of the hotel.
The group, which also included the college football team, spent a day of sightseeing in Amsterdam prior to their first set of fixtures which were against carefully selected opposition ensuring close matches and great hospitality. The following day the players travelled to the nearby leisure centre in Oss to use the excellent facilities after which they took a trip to the nearby ten-pin bowling centre for lunch and an afternoon of bowling.
The final evening saw the group play their second set of fixtures which were enjoyed by all involved with the college ending their tour with 4 victories out of 6 matches across both sports.
On the final day the party departed Holland and travelled to Bruges for some last minute sightseeing before returning home to England to complete a memorable tour.
