Spitfire United’s football tour to Prague marked their fifth tour with us, and we were once again delighted to help them book an “excellent tour”. If you are after a social football tour with plenty of post match beers and nights out, then Prague is the destination for you! Considered by many as the beer capital of the world it is cheaper to by a bottle of beer then a bottle of water! The city has countless bars and pubs, breweries and even a beer spa!

The team flew out of London on Friday morning, arriving into Prague just after lunch. This gave the team plenty of time to unpack and then head out to explore the bars and clubs.

The following morning the team had some free time for sightseeing, and to recover from the night before. They were picked up by their coach at 15:00 and taken to their first fixture, a game against SK Modrany. Spitfire said that this was a brilliant game, and they highly recommended their opposition to us for future tours!

The game ended 3-3, so they had a penalty shoot out to see who would win, and surprisingly it was the English team that managed to keep their nerve and claim victory. After this historic win they had a big BBQ and beers, before exchanging shirts.

Another morning of sore heads followed so more free time to explore the city. They are some incredible sights to see, such as Prague castle, the Charles Bridge and the 600 year old astronomical clock. The team must have been inspired by their win the previous day as they sealed a strong win over their opposition, Sokol Stodulky FC.

Following the match there were more beers before the final night out of tour.
