Junior Football Tour to Lille

During their football tour to Lille, the players of Nuneaton Borough Junior Football Club U14’s played two very competitive fixtures against local opposition, one of which was played out in front of the largest crowd the players had ever played in front of, which was an excellent experience for all.

The tourists were incredibly well looked after by their hosts using what was described by the group as excellent facilities. The tour leaders were eager to praise their hosts for the welcome that was offered and I know that the clubs plan to keep in touch into the future. The group also had the opportunity for a trip in to nearby Belgium where it is possible to visit the Oceade Water Park; a brilliant day out for junior teams on sports tours to Lille which is easily combined with a trip in to Brussels; Europe’s Capital City.
